ABOUT THIS ROLE
The Associated Director of Content Engagement will be leading strategy, delivery, and reporting of compelling content engagement campaigns ranging from new releases and seasonal campaigns to content sales. You will partner with a huge amount of stakeholders - like Content, Brand & Content Marketing, Design and Product - and be the core pillar for a unified customer experience for content campaigns across the Outbound (Email & Push) and Surface (Web & App) teams within Lifecycle Marketing. You will work across seven marketplaces (Germany, France, Italy, Spain, Japan, India and Brazil) and be good at both working independently and within cross-functional and global project teams. Additionally, you will be managing two working students, who are of great support to deliver content campaigns that serve our customers and publishing partners alike.
This is a maternity cover with a limited contract of 12 months.
As an Associate Director, Content Engagement, you will…
- Lead the overall content engagement strategy for Germany, France, Italy, Spain, India, Japan, and Brazil across all member communication channels
- Own efficient and effective content engagement workflows, collaborating with internal stakeholders to determine processes and tooling to accommodate languages and streamline local activities
- Oversee all aspects of content campaign planning including ideating, planning, execution, and reporting
- Determine dedicated campaign measurements for publisher deal making, deliver regular updates and reports on content engagement campaigns for publishers, provide input for business reviews
- Ensure continuous testing, measuring, and evolving of content engagement activities across channels
- Establish and track success metrics across content types and channels in alignment with overall content strategy and business goals
- Ensure we streamline cross-functional and team internal activities for efficiency with respect to local demands, for example through building mechanisms to provide feedback and constantly evaluating impact versus effort for regional and local content initiatives
- Deliver retrospectives with data-driven analysis including goal attainment and recommendations for future improvements

Basic Qualifications
- Professional degree (Bachelors’ degree, MBA, M.A., M.S., or another post-graduate degree)
- 5+ years of experience working within a content engagement function and documented experience in delivering consumer facing, data-driven content campaigns
- Business fluency in written and verbal English

Preferred Qualifications
- Exceptional relationship building, project management skills, and the ability to establish clear processes
- Strong organizational and communication skills, with proven ability to handle multiple projects and deliver results.
- High ability to engage cross-functionally and thrive in a dynamic global environment
- Good knowledge and understanding of the book market and entertainment industry
