ABOUT THIS ROLE
As a key member of the global marketing team, you will drive Audible's expansion into new international markets. Your primary responsibilities include ideate, implement, and optimize acquisition marketing campaigns that attract new customers across emerging countries. You will partner closely with cross-functional teams to launch localized campaigns from concept to deployment (website, mobile web and apps), ensuring they meet objectives and timelines.

Specifically, you will project manage the full lifecycle of marketing initiatives, identifying opportunities to drive customer acquisition through the Amazon Retail channel. This involves ideating innovative campaign concepts, managing production, and overseeing implementation across diverse markets and channels. You will analyze performance data to optimize playbooks, establishing best practices for repeatable, scalable global growth.

Additionally, you will champion international expansion priorities by collaborating with local Audible/Amazon teams worldwide. Your role is vital for sharing marketing expertise, enabling consistent brand experiences, and fueling adoption of successful strategies across regions. You will create training materials and provide guidance to mobilize future campaign launches effectively.

Throughout this highly visible position, you will leverage your entrepreneurial spirit, marketing prowess, and cross-cultural competencies to expand Audible's global footprint strategically. Your leadership will directly impact the company's ability to inspire more listeners worldwide through the power of spoken-word entertainment.

This position is initially open through a 12-months contract.

As a Marketing Operations Manager - International Expansion, you will...
- Partner with technical teams to track and release new products directly to the customer
- Project manage all campaigns from beginning to end ensuring they meet the target objectives
- Manage marketing campaigns and identify opportunities to drive traffic at the launch of new Audible markets and other Go-To-Market/Global growth initiatives
- Partner with the global and local Audible and Amazon teams to identify best practices, champion international expansion business priorities, and drive localization and global expansion of successful marketing initiatives
- Ideate and implement (localize and launch) acquisition marketing campaigns from concept to launch across emerging countries Amazon Retail channel to grow Audible member base
- Work collaboratively across multiple stakeholders to launch campaigns on time
- Build and launch a variety of customer acquisition and product marketing campaigns for the organization
- Create, own, and optimize global expansion marketing playbooks by analyzing Audible’s merchandising and marketing processes, tools, channels, and campaigns
- Establish repeatable processes and collaborate with stakeholders to help Audible on Amazon scale faster internationally
- Provide training and enable adoption of playbooks/best practices to marketers in future new country launches

Basic Qualifications

- Professional Degree (Bachelors’ degree, MBA, M.A., M.S., or another post-graduate degree) in marketing, business, engineering and/or relevant field of study.
- Experience in acquisition/performance marketing, and/or in marketing operations
- Business fluency in English and at least one additional language (Spanish, French, Arabic, Dutch)
- Experience with Content Management Systems

Preferred Qualifications

- Relentlessly high standards and a high attention to detail
- Strong organizational, managerial, and communication skills, with proven ability to handle multiple projects and deliver results
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and autonomously
- Ability to manage time and multiple priorities with a variety of internal and external stakeholders
- Amazon and/or e-commerce marketing experience
- Experience in the entertainment or digital media/subscription industry
- Experience in international marketing or localization of campaigns
- Experience with HTML
- Experience working directly with technical teams to build and launch new marketing products
- Comfortable working with international teams and cultures
- A builder’s mentality and/or experience working in a start-up or GTM plans
