ABOUT THIS ROLE
Based in Berlin, Audible GmbH is looking for a Publisher Relations Coordinator EU4 to drive and coordinate projects that have impacts on Audible’s publisher relationships. For this position, the Publisher Partnerships team seeks a highly organized individual to act as the central point of contact between external publishers and team members, by owning and coordinating various processes for audiobook acquisitions from book and audiobook publishers, with a focus on German, French, Italian and Spanish language publishers. You will support the European team managing the everyday business in content acquisition in all areas.

Your expertise lies in coordinating complex processes and your strength is supporting the team managing the content acquisition activities from deal negotiation, driving agreements and overseeing publisher relationships in the operational everyday business.
For this, you have both precise and thoughtful communication skills, a love for content, and thrive within a team environment. Attention to detail, a can-do attitude, with an ability to work nimbly (and often quickly) will be key to your success. You are a strategic thinker who will not hesitate to ask questions and be willing and able to prioritize testing and learning in order to improve internal processes.
This position is a 24 month fixed-term contract.
As a Publisher Relationships Coordinator, you will…
- Support the European content acquisition teams by negotiating deals with different European rightsholders, according to evolving business needs
- Collaborate closely with the local European and global Audible teams to foster synergies and efficiencies across our Publisher Relations efforts to serve our European audiences and publishers
- Prepare and assist for publisher meetings, business trips and industry events
- Draft and structure presentations for the team
- Learn and understand the Audible approval process, associated risk levels, and internal systems/tools for tracking
- Keep processed documents and different kind of trackers updated and accessible for internal purpose
- Communicate deal proposals and outcomes through written reports and presentations

Basic Qualifications
- Experience with Microsoft Office products and applications
- 1+ years of professional experience
- Business fluency in written and verbal English
