ABOUT THIS ROLE
Based in Berlin, Audible GmbH is looking for you!
As a Working Student in our Workplace & Events team you are supporting multiple functions of building operations and maintenance providing a safe, clean, and comfortable work environment and will be part to turn our great agenda of events into reality. In this role you will be assisting our team in making/maintaining Audible as a Great place to work, offering the best experience to both internal & external clients, aligned with our distinctive Culture and our People Principles.

As a Working Student - Workplace & Events, you will...
- Assist workplace operations daily business/projects and manage facilities
- Support our Workplace and Events Coordinator with planning and executing Internal Audible events for employees including all hands, learning and development workshops, meetings, and employee engagement events (event's ticket ques, initiating and coordinating catering requests for events, etc.)
- Manage the ordering process and oversee procurement tasks
- Act as a person of contact for external janitorial, housekeeping and other vendors, support our office coordinator managing building maintenance and appointments
- Be reliable by forwarding of all relevant information by phone, email and postal mail
- Coordinate incoming and outgoing mail, courier services and overnight deliveries
- Support the handling and processing of invoices
- Create and update internal wiki pages
- Be the first point of contact for all internal and external guests including VIPs and narrators visiting Audible Studios

OUR OFFER
- Student position for 20h per week
- Compensation of €15.30 per hour
- Contribution on the long-run (ideally 1 to 2 years) as a fully-fledged team member
- Exciting opportunity to participate in the growth of a global digital audiobook provider
- International work environment, flexible working hours

Basic Qualifications

- Business fluency in German and English both written and spoken (minimum B2)
- Microsoft Office Experience
- Experience using Outlook mail/calendar

Preferred Qualifications

- Great attitude, warm, welcoming and approachable
- Can-do-attitude, hands-on approach to try different things with minimal direction. Possess a strong desire to learn new technologies, the curiosity to figure out how things work
- Results an action oriented, even in ambiguous situations
- Previous work experience in a back office, office management, hospitality role
- Passionate about improving the customer experience
- Demonstrated multi-tasking and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment.
- Experience handling ticketing systems
