ABOUT THIS ROLE
In this role you will be responsible for executing sourcing events across Audible with a focus across all indirect categories of spend, reviewing and identifying potential savings opportunities to contribute to the overall Audible cost savings goal, building relationships with business partners, and acting as a liaison between Procurement and the business. Ultimately you will be accountable for executing sourcing events and following direction given by the Director of Procurement.
As a Senior Manager, Global Procurement, you will...
- Facilitate cross-functional teams from differing levels of the organization regarding procurement-related services. Conduct/provide expertise to strategic sourcing, supplier selection, industry analysis and contract execution
- Execute projects and support multiple indirect categories of spend
- Manage the development and implementation of sourcing strategies and provide consultation to senior management on supplier management, industry trends and strategic cost reduction opportunities
- Analyze spending, identify new cost reduction opportunities within supported categories, and lead conversations with the business stakeholders regarding identified opportunities
- Work collaboratively with the business and legal teams to execute contractual agreements
- Develop and document complex project plans and lead others in executing project plans for key strategic sourcing events
- Assist in the development of e-procurement policies and practices
- Provide guidance to technology plans and programs designed to augment and support the procurement function at the direction of the Director of Procurement
- Conduct analysis and recommend changes to procurement processes and procedures, including appropriate communication and training
- Collect relevant supplier performance metrics and provide input to the supplier performance review process
- Monitor compliance with sourcing policies

Basic Qualifications
- BA in business or another qualified field
- 5+ years of experience in sourcing and procurement, spend analysis, e-commerce cataloguing and related standards within a tech organization
- 3+ years of management experience
- Experience owning projects end to end within the Source to Contract lifecycle
