ABOUT THIS ROLE
In this role, you will partner with our organizational leadership and HR Business partners to drive Audible's People Analytics consulting projects. You will focus on design and implementation of global People Analytics initiatives, identifying opportunities for improvement and developing recommendations needed. You will turn ambiguous business questions to clearly defined problems, develop quantifiable metrics, and implement reporting to support the data needs across the organization.

As a Principal HR Specialist , you will...
- Serve as the principal strategic advisor to executive leadership on workforce analytics, providing data-driven insights that shape organizational strategy
- Lead the development and execution of multi-year people program and product roadmaps aligned with Amazon and Audible business objectives
- Leverage statistical models and predictive analytics solutions to assess and forecast workforce trends, engagement, and organizational effectiveness
- Direct complex research initiatives combining multiple data sources, advanced statistical methods, and machine learning approaches
- Partner with senior leadership to translate business challenges into solutions
- Lead cross-functional initiatives requiring alignment across HR, IT, Finance, and business units
- Influence senior stakeholders through executive-level presentations and strategic recommendations
- Lead multiple high-impact projects simultaneously while managing resources and priorities
- Design and implement global solutions that scale across regions and business units
- Drive standardization of metrics and reporting across internal and external global operations
- Establish and maintain best practices, methodologies, and standards for people analytics across the organization
- Provide thought leadership and technical mentorship to the broader analytics and HR community
- Establish training programs and knowledge sharing frameworks for analytics best practices

Basic Qualifications
- BA/BS degree in Human Resources Management , Business Analytics, Information Systems or related field
- 8+ years of professional experience in HR, business analysis or comparable analytics position
- Work experience focused on using data to uncover insights that drive action
- Experience in fields such as analytics, business intelligence, consulting, finance, or related areas
- Experience with advanced data tools (e.g., R, Tableau, Python, SPSS)
- Experience in building comprehensive self-service products
- Experience with survey design and analysis
- Experience with workforce planning
- 8+ years of professional experience in HR, business analysis or comparable analytics position

- Experience identifying and translating business issues into questions that can be answered with data
- Strong verbal and written communication skills; communicates succinctly and clearly and can create documents and presentations that are ready for leadership review
- Comfort operating in ambiguous situations within a high growth environment. Ability to figure things out without a road map, as well as break the mold in terms of ways to re-frame and solve problems.
- Experience with AWS Quicksight
- Experience with statistical analysis, quantitative research and forecasting
- Strong knowledge of HR technology solutions (preferably Workday and Prism); deep understanding of business intelligence and reporting tools, including Excel (complex formulas, pivots, etc.)
- Project management experience with multiple stakeholders; experience prioritizing and delegating projects/tasks

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $134,800/year in our lowest geographic market up to $222,800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
