ABOUT THIS ROLE
Audible is looking to hire a HR Partner based in Sydney supporting our Audible APAC locations. The role will partner with the global HR team and local and international managers and employees on a wide range of responsibilities from tactical HR operations, processes and policies work to influencing and independently owning HR initiatives. This role will need to navigate the complexity of working for Audible within the larger support services of Amazon.
ABOUT YOU
You will need to quickly get up to speed with the processes in place supporting the HR lifecycle of Audible employees in Australia, Singapore, Japan and India. You will work alongside a HR operations team based in Europe and New Jersey (US), and you will partner with cross border managers globally to increase the understanding of APAC policies and processes. You have great judgement, a passion for problem solving and deeply care for the employee and manager experience.
As the HR Partner, you will...
- Partner with employees and managers to support complex processes, queries and navigate these with discretion and expertise. Including job related changes, country legislation or complex leaves of absence, and guiding managers and employees on Employee Relations policies and requirements
- Manage and maintain our HR information system and documents, with support of HR Centralized Services and global partners, and undertaking HR systems testing, auditing and resolve system discrepancies
- Collaborate with HR operations and technology, legal and other Centers of Excellence (CoE) functions to ensure the right decisions are made navigating both global Audible requirements and local regulation and Amazon needs in our APAC locations
- Manage contractor processes in partnership with agencies or internal contingent worker teams
- Proactively build out operations processes to reduce key man dependency across operations
- Partner with communications to build and maintain mechanisms to educate and spotlight people policies and practices for the APAC region
- Proactively support projects and initiatives to support Audible HR operations globally and the people experience locally in APAC

Basic Qualifications
- Experience as a HR operations generalist partner in a fast-paced, ambiguous and complex environment
- Proven experience implementing or changing HR processes that resulted in high impact for managers and employees
- Experience understanding and applying HR legislation to policies and processes in different countries
